About me

I am a Clinical Psychologist with over 14 years of experience supporting people through life's
challenges, from outpatient care to inpatient settings. Over the years, I have trained in
many evidence-based approaches because I know that healing is not one-size-fits-all. Every
person is unique, and my goal is to help you find the approach that feels right for you.

In our sessions, you will find a space of honesty, kindness, and respect, where you are truly
seen, heard, and understood. Clients often describe me as insightful, sometimes even like a
mind reader, because I care deeply about tuning in to what matters most to you. I aim to
create a warm and collaborative environment where you feel safe to explore your thoughts
and feelings, and empowered to make meaningful change.

Who I Work With:
I work with adults, and young adults 16+ supporting a wide range of concerns, including:
- Emotional Wellbeing: Anxiety, stress, depression, perfectionism, and low self-
esteem
- Trauma & Complex Needs: PTSD, trauma, and OCD
- Neurodevelopmental Conditions: ADHD and Autism (ASD)
- Specialist Areas: Eating problems, health-related difficulties, and life transitions
- Growth & Change: Personal development and navigating significant life changes

No matter what brings you here, my aim is to help you feel supported, understood, and
empowered.

My Therapeutic Approach
I often describe myself as having a CBT brain and a Schema Therapy heart. I don't believe
in a single way to heal, so I draw on a range of approaches tailored to you, your goals, and
what feels right for you.

- Schema Therapy supports understanding and gently shifting long-standing
patterns that may be holding you back.
- Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps you make sense of thoughts, feelings,
and behaviours, and build practical strategies for everyday life.
- Third-wave CBT approaches (ACT, Mindfulness, Compassion-Focused Therapy)
help you connect with your values, develop self-compassion, and navigate life's
challenges with flexibility.
- Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) teaches skills to manage intense emotions,
improve relationships, and tolerate distress.
- Trauma-focused interventions provide support for safely processing traumatic
experiences, including complex trauma.

My style is practical, structured, and deeply compassionate. Sessions are collaborative and
tailored to you, with a focus on making therapy meaningful, manageable, and relevant to
your life. I believe that who you are is already enough, and sometimes all it takes is a little
support to help you grow, reconnect with your strengths, and move forward with
confidence.
