About me

Chard is a BABCP accredited CBT therapist with over 15 years of experience as a CBT therapist and over 20 years in primary and secondary mental health care.
Currently he works in private practice supporting adults experiencing common psychological problems including work-related stress, depression, anxiety, obsessive compulsive traits/disorders, post-traumatic stress, eating disorders or any other psychological difficulties.
He has also developed a keen interest in working with neuro-divergence, trans-diagnostic treatment models and other approaches including Mindfulness based strategies.
Previously he worked as an Operational Manager for a primary care mental health social enterprise, with a focus on developing new ways of working, project management and marketing.
For a few years, he also worked as a Teaching Fellow at the University of Manchester on the Masters programme for Primary Care Mental Health.
