About me

As a psychologist, I prioritise showing up for my clients with presence and authenticity. I aim to inspire hope, through a compassionate and curious approach, and a genuine interest in understanding your story and what you want to get from therapy. Seeking therapy is a courageous act. I offer a therapeutic space that feels safe and containing where we can look collaboratively at whatever difficulties you may bring, and extend your courage further into making changes that will help you to live your life according to what matters to you.

I am a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and have been working within mental health and clinical settings for over 14 years. I have extensive experiences working across the lifespan adults, older adults, children and young people and within various settings NHS, community services, prison in-reach, private healthcare providers, learning disability services. Within these roles I have worked with a variety of physical and mental health conditions. These include chronic pain, anxiety disorders, depression, trauma and stress-related disorders, dementia, personality disorders. I have a British Psychological Society Approved Certificate in Clinical Supervision and enjoy supervising fellow psychologists qualified or trainee as well as other healthcare professionals.

I worked as an NHS psychologist for almost ten years, across various mental health services and specialising in older adults mental health for five years. I have vast experience of one-to-one therapy as well as working with couples/families, and also clinical teams. For the past three years I have been working as a Principal Clinical Psychologist in a community pain service, providing psychological therapy for people living with chronic pain. I am also qualified as a SIRPA-informed professional. SIRPA stands for the Stress Illness Recovery Practitioners Association and is the leading body for mindbody approaches to treating chronic pain in the UK.

I am clinically trained to work with a range of therapeutic models and specialise in using Acceptance and Commitment Therapy ACT, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy CBT, and Compassion Focused Therapy CFT.

I currently have appointment availability on Monday evenings and Tuesday evenings, and will be expanding my private practice hours from September 2026 onwards.
