About me
Mr Yeung graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2011. He was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) in 2023 and completed his higher surgical training on the North West London rotation in 2024.
He has trained at internationally renowned hepatopancreatobiliary centres, including The Royal Marsden, Hammersmith Hospital, and King's College Hospital. During his training, he also completed his PhD at Imperial College London, where his research focused on metabolic pathways following surgery, utilising mass spectrometry-based metabolic profiling.
Mr Yeung is currently a Consultant HPB and General Surgeon at The Royal Marsden. He is part of a high-volume specialist team managing a full spectrum of complex HPB surgical oncology cases, using both open and robotic surgical approaches. He also works closely with multidisciplinary teams across the hospital to deliver personalised surgical care for patients with a wide range of cancers.
His research interest focuses on the integration of novel technologies and techniques into HPB surgery to improve outcomes, particularly in the treatment of advanced HPB cancers. He has authored multiple peer-reviewed publications and textbook chapters, and is actively involved in clinical and translational research through the Upper GI Surgical Oncology Research Group at The Royal Marsden and the Institute of Cancer Research (ICR). He is also a active contributor to national collaborative research as a member of the UK HPB Collaborative Research Group.
