About me

Next Step Physio clinic in Sale, Cheshire, specialises in post op rehabilitation for all orthopaedic surgeries and treating musculoskeletal complaints including neck and back pain and shoulder, hip, knee and ankle pain.

I qualified from Salford University with a BSc in Sports Rehabilitation in 2000 and after working in a sports injuries clinic and in various team sports, I became a Chartered Physiotherapist in 2007. Since then I worked in a large private hospital in the outpatient department, treating patients following a wide variety of orthopaedic surgeries (including total hip and knee replacements, rotator cuff surgeries, knee and hip arthroscopies and spinal surgeries.) I also treated patients with a variety of musculoskeletal complaints and trauma.

I have a special interest in treating hip patients, in particular young adult hip pain and Greater Trochanteric pain syndrome (GTPS)

I am dedicated to providing exceptional Physiotherapy services in a warm and welcoming atmosphere. I treat patients using a combination of hands on techniques (massage, mobilisation and soft tissue techniques) and exercise programmes to improve range of movement, strength, stability and balance. You don't need to join a gym or have any special equipment as most exercises can be carried out easily in your own home.

With a commitment to evidence based practice, I ensure that every treatment plan is tailored to your individual needs and goals.
