About me
Benjamin is a senior musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapist with many years of experience in private practice. He has worked closely with a wide range of orthopaedic consultants, sports physicians and spinal specialists. This close collaboration has given him a deep understanding of complex MSK presentations and has made him a trusted part of patients' wider care teams, from initial assessment and diagnosis through to post-operative rehabilitation and return to full function.
Benjamin's path into physiotherapy is a personal one. A former MMA fighter, he saw his competitive career cut short by an ACL injury that required reconstruction. Going through surgery and the long road of rehabilitation himself gave him first-hand insight into what patients experience, physically and mentally, and inspired him to pursue a career in physiotherapy. Having first qualified as a personal trainer, he went on to complete his BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy at St George's University of London.
Benjamin began his career in the NHS and continues to work within it alongside his private practice, because he values the role it plays in delivering accessible, high-quality care. During his NHS work he contributed to a pilot project aimed at reducing waiting times for MSK physiotherapy services.
Benjamin has treated a broad range of patients, from office workers with persistent back and neck pain to amateur and professional athletes recovering from sports injuries and looking to return to peak performance. He is highly skilled in hands-on treatment, including soft tissue manipulation, joint mobilisation and manual therapy, and combines these with acupuncture and electrotherapy where appropriate. Having completed further training, Benjamin now offers joint injection therapy and acupuncture, allowing him to provide a complete treatment pathway in one place.
His background in combat sport and strength and conditioning means he understands the demands athletes place on their bodies. He blends expert hands-on care with carefully tailored exercise programmes, so patients feel better quickly and build lasting strength and resilience to prevent recurrence.
Benjamin is known for his warm, reassuring manner and his ability to put patients at ease. He is fluent in English and Persian, a member of the Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP) and registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
