About me

I trained as a Clinical Psychologist as I am passionate about supporting children, adolescents, and young adults to overcome their mental health difficulties, to enable them to reach their full potential. After completing my undergraduate and master's degrees in Clinical Applications of Psychology at the University of Warwick, I went on to complete my doctorate in Clinical Psychology at the University of Oxford.

I have worked in a range of settings within the NHS including general child and adolescent mental health services (CAMHS), paediatrics, specialist CAMHS eating disorder services, and a CAMHS outreach service. Currently I am working in an NHS eating disorder service alongside my private work.

My work is predominantly formulation-led which means I create an individualised therapy plan based on each person's specific difficulties, as opposed to focusing on diagnostic labels or protocols. The main therapeutic modalities which I draw upon are Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Narrative Therapy, and Systemic Family Therapy.
