About me
I qualified from the College of Medicine University of Lagos, Nigeria and did my postgraduate specialist training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in London, earning the MRCOG in 1994, PhD in 2006 and FRCOG in 2007. I was appointed Consultant Obstetrician & Gynaecologist at St George’s Hospital, & Senior Lecturer, University of London in 2001.
I have a wide range of clinical & research interests in obstetrics & gynaecology with a particular focus on perinatal & gynaecological infections, intrapartum care & fetal monitoring. My other responsibilities include serving on international committees including WHO guidelines group & Scientific editor for 3 major international medical journals.
