About me

I believe in working to support clients to achieve their life goals and I believe Cognitive Behavioural Therapy is the best way to achieve this. I aim to practice in an empathic and personalised way so that each client has the best opportunity to develop new skills and ways techniques to find lasting mental wellness.
I am an accredited CBT therapist, and am trained in EMDR and I have over 7 years of NHS experience as a Senior Therapist.
I have been in private practice since 2022 and through both of these roles I have offered:

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR), Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).

I have 13 years worth of experience working in mental health services, mainly within the NHS, but also in the charity sector, including Headway the brain injury charity and Crisis Centre in Erskine, Scotland

I work with patient with: Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Health Anxiety, Phobias and Social Anxiety. I also offer private supervision in
CBT and am currently going through the accreditation process to become an accredited supervisor.

Areas of interest

I work with depression, Post-traumatic Stress Disorder, trauma Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, Panic Disorder, Health Anxiety, Phobias, and Social Anxiety.
I am an accredited counsellor, accredited CBT therapist, and am trained in EMDR.
I work with adults and older adults.
