About me
Mr Mansouri has been a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Frimley Park Hospital since 2020, specialising in hip and knee conditions. He treats the full range of hip and knee problems including sports injuries, ligament reconstruction, cartilage and meniscal surgery, realignment procedures, patellofemoral instability and hip and knee replacement (partial, total and revision), as well as robotic-assisted surgery.
He completed his Orthopaedic Specialist Training on the St George's Hospital rotation in London and undertook a dedicated year of Trauma Fellowship training in New Zealand. After qualifying as a specialist, he undertook two further years of advanced fellowship training at internationally recognised centres, including the Fortius Clinic in Bristol and London, Royal Berkshire Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital, focusing on joint arthroplasty, complex knee and sports-related surgery.
Mr Mansouri has a strong interest in the management of sports injuries. He holds a Diploma in Sports and Exercise Medicine and is a member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine (UK).
He remains actively involved in research, national trials and teaching. His work has been presented nationally and internationally and he continues to train trainee doctors and senior knee fellows at Frimley Park Hospital, helping to develop the next generation of knee surgeons.
Mr Mansouri's practice centres on keeping people active and able to enjoy the activities they love. He works closely with each patient to understand their goals and to create a clear, personalised plan for recovery. He believes that many knee and hip problems can be managed without surgery and he will always explore non-operative treatments first. When surgery is the most effective option, patients can expect honest, balanced advice and careful guidance at every step.
