About me

I am a qualified counsellor and an accredited professional registrant member of NCPS (National Counselling and Psychotherapy Society), based in Penrith, East Cumbria. I have been in private practice since 2016.

I provide a warm, confidential space where we can explore whatever is on your mind.

If you are navigating anxiety and depression, have been through traumatic times, are experiencing stress, or simply feeling stuck, I'm here to support you with compassion, understanding, and without judgment.

While my speciality lies in trauma and abuse recovery, my integrative approach and skills allow me to help with a wide range of difficulties, such as navigating seperation, managing anxiety and stress, or dealing with work-related issues.

Working in and integrative way, means that I tailor my approach to your needs. I might offer and incorporate mindfulness-based interventions when appropriate, provide psycho-education or work in a more creative way. My approach is flexible and supportive, ensuring you get the right strategies and tools to move forward.

I am an RNIB (Royal National Institute of Blind People) accredited sight loss counsellor. I am specifically trained to work with people with sight loss and understand the emotional impact of sight loss and the nuances of each person's experience. I provide an accessible counselling practice space and counselling information in accessible formats.

I am bilingual in German, offering sessions in both English and German, allowing me to support a wider range of individuals who may find comfort in speaking their native language during therapy.
