About me

I am a Consultant General and Colorectal Surgeon with a passion for providing high-quality, compassionate care tailored to each patient's needs.

I specialise in conditions affecting the bowel and abdominal wall, including:
� Proctology (haemorrhoids, anal fissure, anal fistula, rectal prolapse)
� Pilonidal disease (including minimally invasive approaches)
� Inflammatory bowel disease
� Bowel cancer detection and treatment
� Hernia repair
� Abdominal wall reconstruction
� Colonoscopy and polypectomy

I am one of a small group of people in the UK performing minimally invasive pilonidal sinus treatments (laser ablation, EPSIT), and sphincter sparing fistula treatments (VAAFT, LIFT, laser ablation). I can also offer laser haemorrhoidectomy, reducing post operative pain and getting patients back to normal activities faster than traditional methods.

My NHS practice is at Frimley Health NHS Trust, where in addition to planned surgery, I am part of an emergency surgery team treating patients with urgent and life-threatening conditions.

I have degrees from the University of Cambridge, and Guy's, King's and St Thomas' Medical School. I have a PhD in Surgery and Cancer from Imperial College London and undertook advanced surgical training in London and East Sussex. Before joining Frimley, I worked as a consultant alongside internationally recognised experts at St Mark's Hospital, a world-leading centre for colorectal surgery.
