Dr Hamid works as a Consultant Physician in Respiratory/General medicine and Intensive care at the King's College NHS Hospital Foundation Trust, The Princess Royal University Hospital, Orpington, Kent.

Dr Hamid graduated in 1985 and received specialist training in the Guys & St Thomas's Hospitals in London.

In addition to specialist respiratory problems he also deals with acute general and complex medical conditions.
