About me
The world can feel unsafe and uncertain at times, and our difficulties overwhelming. If you are struggling with anxiety, depression or are in distress please know that you are not alone; help and support is available for you.
I wholeheartedly believe in empowering my clients to seek out the answers and truths they need and are ready for, to overcome challenges faced, and connect to the courage to work through pain; sometimes pain that may have been held for many years. I have a keen interest in working with trauma, including childhood trauma, and neurodiversity.
I draw upon different models of counselling to suit individual needs while keeping the relationship between myself and my clients at the heart of my practice. I incorporate elements of CBT and TA (Transactional Analysis) as appropriate and work creatively to help clients reach new insights.
When given a safe and supportive environment I believe that we all have the strength and resources we need within us, and my aim and commitment to my clients is to facilitate this journey by promoting a warm, non-judgmental and non-threatening space for you to explore your thoughts, feelings and experiences in safety. I will be alongside you each step of the way.
I am an integrative humanistic therapist and qualified as a counsellor in 2018. I have seven years of post-qualification experience with a broad range of clients and presenting issues.
