About me

I am an Associate Professor of Urology at University College London, Honorary Consultant Urologist at University College London Hospital and Hunterian Professor of Surgical Sciences at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. I am Director of the BURST Research Collaborative and Director of the COMPASS (Centre for Urology iMaging, Prostate, AI and Surgical Studies) Research Group. My clinical practice is in cancer diagnostics, robotic pelvic oncology and focal therapy. I am a member of one of the highest volume pelvic oncology and focal therapy teams in the World. I aspire to deliver high quality patient-focussed clinical care, introducing innovations into clinical practice through practice-changing clinical trials and novel research methods that can improve the quality of life of Urological Patients.

I contribute to urological research on an international level, having contributed to the first major change in 30 years in the way that we diagnose prostate cancer. I am a regularly invited international speaker and have a number of national and international leadership roles. I have influenced national policy in prostate cancer screening and urological emergencies and have changed NICE, European and American guidelines for prostate cancer care through high-impact publications in leading medical journals. I have developed novel methods within urological research, fostering cross-disciplinary collaboration and have a track record of nurturing early career researchers. I am committed to ensuring diversity & equality within my research and clinical teams.
