About me
Professor Veeru Kasivisvanathan is a world-leading Consultant Urological Surgeon, specialising in the diagnosis and treatment of Urological conditions (e.g. prostate, bladder, kidney, genitalia) including both cancer and benign conditions.
He uses new innovations in care (e.g. robotic surgery) and the latest minimally invasive technology (e.g. focal therapy). He places top priority on listening to patients' concerns and expectations and offering tailored solutions to their problems.
He is an Associate Professor at University College London and Professor of Urology at the University of Vienna, managing a large international research team. His work has led to the biggest changes in prostate cancer care in the last 30 years introducing MRI into the diagnostic pathway. He has featured on national TV for his expertise including Sky News, Channel 4 News, the Times, The Guardian, the Telegraph and the Independent amongst others.
He has been recognised for his expertise with more than 70 prestigious awards including:
