About me

About Me
My name is Belinda Evans and I am a BACP accredited psychotherapeutic counsellor. I work with adults and young people (16+) face-to-face, online (Zoom or Teams) and telephone sessions. Whether you're seeking short-term support or open-ended therapy, I regularly review our work together to ensure we remain on the right path.

My Approach
I believe the therapeutic relationship is the cornerstone of meaningful change. I bring empathy, warmth and a non-judgmental presence to each session, collaborating with you to explore thoughts and emotions, building self-awareness and strengthen confidence in your decisions.
In our sessions, I will explore and reflect on what you bring, honoring your uniqueness and adapting my approach to fit your needs and pace. As an integrative counsellor, I use a variety of therapeutic techniques to effectively address individual needs.

What to Expect
A safe, supportive space to explore the reasons you've come to therapy.
Regular check-ins on progress, ensuring our work stays relevant and effective.
Practical tools and insights to help you navigate life's challenges and discover new ways forward.

Free Consultation
Choosing the right counsellor is crucial. I offer a complimentary 20-minute telephone consultation so we can:
Discuss what's brought you to counselling
Answer your questions about the process
Decide whether we'd be a good fit

Professional Background & Training
Accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) with ongoing supervision and continued professional development (CPD).
Qualified in 2016; previously worked as a Complex Bereavement Counsellor within the NHS.
Experienced in working for counselling agencies, Employer Assistance Programmes (EAP), and managing a private practice.
Holds a Diploma in Person-Centred Counselling, along with certifications in CBT (Cognitive Behaviour Therapy), Transactional Analysis, Solution-Focused Therapy, Trauma-Focused Training, and Complex Bereavement.

I'm dedicated to helping clients discover clarity, resilience, and hope. If you're ready to move forward, feel free to reach out for your free consultation.
