About me

I'm Eleanor, a Chartered Physiotherapist with extensive experience treating people with neurological conditions.

My aim is to support and motivate my patients as we work towards their goals and make improvements to their quality of life by providing individualised neuro-rehabilitation.

I have been helping patients for over 20 years having qualified in Physiotherapy in 2004 with a degree from the University of Wales, College of Medicine. Having had a particular interest in Neurological Physiotherapy, I have dedicated myself to this area of specialism since 2006 until today. I completed a post-graduate diploma in neuro-rehabilitation with merit in 2015 and more recently, I was awarded recognition of my advanced practice skills by NHS-E thus becoming an Advance Physiotherapy Practitioner in 2024.

During my career to date I have worked for the NHS in Cardiff, London, Yorkshire and Southampton gaining invaluable experience from each role. I remain up to date with evidence base for this specialist field and complete regular professional development courses for clinical skills.

I have treated people with a wide variety of complex neurological conditions and have considerable experience in progressive neurological and neuro-muscular disorders, neuro-rehabilitation, neuro-surgery, stroke and spasticity management.

My areas of specialist interest include rehabilitation, gait, optimising functional independence and increasing exercise participation in people with neurological conditions.

I hope I can start working with you and together we can create a positive impact on your quality of life moving forward.
