About me
Hi I'm Al. I'm a Clinical Psychologist, Trainer and Clinical Supervisor. I have worked in the NHS in mental health services since 2006, qualifying from University College London as a Clinical Psychologist in 2011. I worked a further 10 years in the NHS, specialising in supporting people with PTSD and trauma difficulties, as well as people with severe long term health conditions such as cardiac difficulties, motor neurone disease, diabetes and chronic pain.
I have worked in independent practice since 2013. Alongside my practice I am privileged to train Clinical Psychologists at the Salomons Institute for Applied Psychology in Tunbridge Wells, one of the largest and most established Clinical Psychology programmes in the UK.
I am a husband, proud father of two children and one very eccentric cat. Outside of the office I love to spend time with my family, roaming the beaches and South Downs of Eastbourne and sharing drinks and stories with friends.
