About me

Hello, and thank you for visiting my profile.

I'm Loraine Hope, a qualified and experienced counsellor based in East Anglia. I provide a confidential space for adults who are looking to explore the challenges they're facing and build on their resilience, resources and enjoyment of life. I offer sessions online or in person at my office near the Waterfront in Ipswich.

Life can sometimes feel overwhelming. You may be feeling anxious, stuck, low in confidence, or navigating a loss or change that's difficult to cope with. Whatever brings you here, I believe that counselling offers a valuable opportunity to figure out how you might make the changes you're looking for. Together, we can make sense of what you're experiencing and identify ways to move forward with more confidence and clarity.

I work integratively, which means I draw from several therapeutic models to create a tailored experience that suits your individual needs. The relationship we build is at the heart of the work, where you are free to explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace.

My areas of experience include:

- Anxiety and stress

- Depression and low mood

- Bereavement and loss

- Relationship and family issues

- Self-esteem and identity

- Life transitions and work-related challenges

- Bullying, discrimination and oppression

I understand that taking the first step into counselling can feel daunting. That's why I offer a free 30 minute phone consultation so you can ask any questions, get a sense of how I work, and decide if we would work well together.

If you're ready to begin counselling, or even just thinking about starting, I'd be very happy to hear from you.
