About me
Can you tell me a bit about your background?
I am an Australian Psychologist based in London who has worked with Headspace (Australia's national youth mental health service), the Barwon Health Eating Disorder Service and two private practices that specialised in intimacy, sexual health and attachment.
I have a particular interest in queer and sexual diverse mental health, working as a facilitator for both the Anxiety Recovery Centre's LGBTQIA+ support groups program and the 'ESTEEM' program for same-sex attracted men. I work with adults and children with common mental health issues such as:
Anxiety
Depression
Stress
Grief and loss
Low self-worth
LGBTQIA+ support
Relationship issues
Communication issues
ADHD support
Body Image
Sex and Intimacy
Identity and belonging
Life decisions
What will it be like when I meet you?
I aim to work collaboratively and compassionately with my clients, believing that a strong and honest therapeutic relationship is the best predictor of success in therapy. While making the choice to engage in therapy can sometimes feel confronting, I always work to create a safe and comfortable space for my clients to better connect with their authentic selves.
I have a particular interest in working with adults and youth experiencing anxiety, depression, disordered eating, interpersonal and relationship difficulties, LGBTQIA+ concerns, and difficulties with self-worth/self-esteem.
What type of therapy do you use?
I draw upon various different therapeutic interventions such as Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Psychodyamic Therapy, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Compassion Focused Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
No matter the chosen intervention, I ensure that the client is the centre of the therapeutic process and will always tailor each session to what feels right and meaningful to them.
