About me
Life is hard, and being human isn't always easy. At times, we feel stuck, overwhelmed, stressed by unexpected challenges, or weighed down by the past. We can have painful emotions, like anxiety, grief, shame, or anger, that can affect our relationships, work, and overall well-being.
Therapy offers a space to navigate these human experiences with support and understanding. It's a place to explore your emotions, relationships, and personal challenges while developing new ways to engage with life. It can also help you make sense of past experiences and how they shape what's going on for you in the present.
I have 10 years of experience working with people of all ages from diverse backgrounds. My work spans NHS primary and secondary care, charitable organisations, and schools. Currently, I am a psychologist in an NHS specialist service for complex trauma, relationship trauma, and PTSD, alongside my private practice. I specialise in working with trauma and life transitions, especially with young adults, who often face pivotal decisions around identity, careers, and relationships.
I offer a compassionate, non-judgmental, and safe space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Therapy is a collaborative processwe are a team, each bringing something valuable. Because everyone is unique, I tailor my approach to suit your needs, drawing from various evidence-based therapeutic models, including psychodynamic therapy, compassion-focused therapy (CFT), cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), and existential therapy.
