About me
Mr Sood's higher specialist training was undertaken in the UK, USA and Australia. He was born in Leeds and educated at Leeds Grammar School. He was appointed Consultant ENT- Head & Neck Surgeon in 2003 and is currently Clinical Director for ENT Services at Bradford Teaching Hospitals. He is the current President of ENTUK Head & Neck Society. He is a member (previous council member) of the British Rhinology Society, North of England ENT Society and Royal Society Medicine (member of Council for the Head and Neck Section). He is a member of the Court of Examiners for the European Board of Otorhinolaryngology. He is Editor-in-Chief of the journal 'The Otorhinolaryngologist'. Mr Sood's practice is divided between nasal (cosmetic rhinoplasty and functional septorhinoplasty -over 1000 procedures done) surgery, sinus surgery (including advanced complex sinus surgery, over 2000 procedures done), neck and thyroid lumps, head and neck cancer (over 500 resections done), voice and swallow disorders and general ENT conditions for both adults and children.
Mr Sood is also the author of the National Guidelines for salivary tumour management. He also has an interest in snoring and sleep medicine. He has an established rhinoplasty practice having performed over 1000 rhinoplasty procedures and has extensive experience in sinus surgery (over 2000 procedures performed).
