Prof Mathur has over 20 years of experience specialising in interventional cardiology and the treatment of heart attacks. He sees all general cardiology patients and specialises in the treatment of chest pain, diagnostic angiography as well as percutaneous coronary intervention including 'complex' cases.
Prof Mathur also runs an extensive research programme to develop new treatments for patients with heart disease. He is an internationally recognised key opinion leader in the field of regenerative medicine and sits on several international advisory groups.
