About me
Mr Norman-Taylor is a highly experienced consultant orthopaedic surgeon who has been practising for over 30 years. He specialises in treating children with a range of musculoskeletal conditions, including those with neurodisability and neuromuscular conditions, such as cerebral palsy, spina bifida, and Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. Mr Norman-Taylor has a particular interest in treating hip dysplasia (DDH/CDH), Perthes disease, slipped epiphyses, clubfoot, and limb length inequality.
He has extensive experience in the field, having worked in several NHS hospitals, including Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children (GOSH) and Evelina London Children’s Hospital. At GOSH, he works closely with the neurodisability, neuromuscular, neurosurgical, and plastic surgery teams to provide a comprehensive multidisciplinary service.
Mr Norman-Taylor is supported by a team of specialist colleagues, including paediatric neurologists, neurodisability consultants, anaesthetists, spinal surgeons, plastic surgeons, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and nurses. He aims to provide the best evidence-based advice, investigations, and treatment to his patients.
In addition to his NHS work, Mr Norman-Taylor also practises privately, offering his expertise to children who require orthopaedic treatment. He sees children with hip dysplasia, Perthes disease, limb length differences, clubfoot, flatfoot, and other conditions that might cause parental concern or require further investigation or treatment. He is dedicated to providing the highest standard of care to his patients and ensuring that they receive the best possible treatment to improve their quality of life.
