About me

I am a consultant anaesthetist with over 20 years of experience in both the NHS and the independent sector. I practice in the independent sector as part of Stockport Anaesthetic Group which has been established for around 25 years. All members of the team are experienced consultant anaesthetists working together to provide high quality anaesthetic services. We are all based at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust for our NHS practice. By working as a team in the independent sector, we are able to provide anaesthetists with the appropriate skills to match the needs of our patients, without conflict of interest with our substantive NHS posts. As a group, we also provide an out of hours, on-call service for our patients to ensure the availability of an anaesthetist at all times should our patients experience difficulties in the days after their surgery.

We practice mainly at The BMI Alexandra Hospital, Cheadle and The Spire Manchester Hospital, Didsbury but also provide services at The Spire Regency Hospital, Macclesfield and The HCA Wilmslow Hospital. All members of our group are recognised by the major private medical insurers, and all are BUPA fee assured.
