About me

Welcome to Global Psychologist, a modern psychology practice centred aroud diversity, inclusion and men's mental health. My aim is to provide high quality person-centred evidence-based assessment and therapy in a manner that is compassionate and healing.

I'm a Chartered Clinical Psychologist and a scholar with over a decade of experience working in the NHS, private practice, academia, consultancy and the international nonprofit sector.

Clinically, I have trained and worked at several specialist London NHS clinics, including the Maudsley Hospital Trauma, Anxiety & Depression Clinic.I undertook my PhD at the renowned Institute of Psychiatry, Psychology & Neuroscience, King's College London, where I researched the intergenerational transmission emotional problems.

As an academic, I have held research and teaching positions at UCL and King's College London, and have co-founded Trauma Psychology Training, a mental health education consultancy. I have written several publications and book chapters which explore the impact of our early life experiences on our adulthood wellbeing.

I'm from Zambia and have also grown up in Europe and South Asia. I bring this lived experience of multiculturalism and familiarity with change to my therapeutic practice.
