About me

Dr Emma Fox graduated from Guy's and St Thomas's Hospitals Medical School in London in 1991. She trained in General Medicine, obtaining her MRCP in 1994 and subsequently specialised in Genito-urinary Medicine at St Thomas' Hospital. She was was appointed Consultant / Honorary Senior Lecturer at St George's Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust in 1999, moving to a Consultant post at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospitals in 1993, and then to Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust in 2008, where she is also Clinical Director of the sexual health service.
Her clinical expertise includes all aspects of sexual health, including sexually-acquired infections, genital skin conditions, HIV and contraception. She has a strong belief in holistic healthcare and patient empowerment.
