About me

I have been a consultant dermatologist since 1998, with considerable experience in medical and surgical dermatology.
Diagnosis and treatment of skin cancers is a major part of my work. I also treat other skin lesions and all inflammatory skin conditions including acne, eczema and psoriasis. I perform Patch Testing for skin allergies where necessary at the Kent Institute of Medicine and Surgery (KIMS).
My NHS practice was at the Medway Maritime Hospital from 1998 - 2019 and from May 2019 for East Kent Hospitals University NHS Trust, based at Kent & Canterbury Hospital, Canterbury and The William Harvey Hospital, Ashford where I am a senior consultant, lead clinician and educational supervisor for trainee dermatologists and other doctors.
I have now been appointed Senior lecturer in Medical Education to the Kent and Medway Medical School to run the Dermatology teaching program to medical students across Kent.
I am the South East regional representative on the Council of the British Association of Dermatologists and am a member of the BAD Teledermatology working party group.
