About me

Trained In Nottingham, Stoke-on-Trent, Melbourne (Australia). British Digestive Foundation Research Fellow 1994-96. Senior Registrar Nottingham, 1996-98. Consultant Gastroenterologist, Sheffield since 1998. Clinical lead for Nutrition service. Developed Small Bowel and Capsule Endoscopy Service, now one of the largest in Europe. Previous responsibilities include: Royal College of Physicians examiner, South Yorks Strategic Health Authority lead for the National Endoscopy Project, member of the British Society of Gastroenterology (BSG) Small Bowel & Nutrition Committee. Currently chair for the UK Capsule Endoscopy Users' Group and representative for the group on the BSG Endoscopy Committee. Director of the European Capsule Endoscopy Training Course. Member of the European Faculty for Capsule Endoscopy Training.
