About me
Mr Robinson is a Consultant Orthopaedic & Trauma Surgeon. He works as an NHS Consultant at Southmead Hospital, Bristol alongside his private practise at The Spire Bristol Hospital. He specialises in all areas of Foot & Ankle surgery including sports, deformity and degenerative conditions He has a particular focus on minimally invasive (MIS) and arthroscopic surgery, including keyhole bunion surgery and ankle arthroscopy.
Mr Robinson trained in the Bristol region and was awarded the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons in Trauma & Orthopaedics in 2016. He completed advanced foot and ankle fellowship training in Sydney, Australia and Bristol, where he trained under world experts, learning the latest techniques in minimally invasive, percutaneous and arthroscopic surgery. This allows him to bring a modern, evidenced based approach to treating his patients.
Mr Robinson teaches minimally invasive bunion surgery nationally and internationally and has also authored several chapters and papers about this technique. Mr Robinson’s research interests include the outcomes of minimally invasive bunion surgery, as well as foot & ankle trauma.
