About me
Dr Miguel Reis Ferreira is a consultant in Clinical Oncology. He specialises in head and neck cancers and has a vast experience in treating patients with radiotherapy, chemotherapy and immunotherapy.
Dr Reis Ferreira is a pioneer in microbiome research in radiotherapy and oncology. He leads a programme of research at King's College London focusing on better understanding the role of microbes in improving cancer treatment results. He is also principal investigator in several national trials.
He has presented his work nationally and internationally and published in high-impact journals including Lancet Oncology and Clinical Cancer Research.
