About me

Dr Joshi is a triple alumnus from Imperial College London and has worked in Centres of Excellence such as The Marsden, UCLH London, St. Bartholomew’s Hospital and Mount Vernon Cancer Centre. She currently works at Oxford’s Churchill Cancer Centre and Wycombe Hospital, Buckinghamshire.

Dr Joshi specialises in the non-surgical treatment of breast and colorectal cancers. Her extensive training has built her expertise in the use of systemic treatment of chemotherapy, immunotherapy, novel targeted agents, endocrine treatment as well as radiation. Radiotherapy techniques include external beam radiotherapy which can include Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy (IMRT), Image Guided Radiotherapy (IGRT) and partial breast radiotherapy.

She has GCP certification (Good Clinical Practice) and regularly recruits to national and international trials. Her research has been presented at international meetings ranging from the San Antonio Breast Cancer Meeting to the European Breast Cancer Conference. She was awarded merit for her Masters, in which her thesis investigated clinical outcomes of palliative radiotherapy for gynaecological cancers, completed with Mount Vernon Cancer Centre and the Institute of Cancer Research.

Dr Joshi also has an appreciation of alternative therapies and is a member of the British Society for Integrative Oncology (BSIO). She is a member of the Reiki Guild having received Level 1 and 2 attunement as well as having completed training in Level 1 Quantum Touch and Mindfulness. Whilst she is unable to deliver these specific treatments, she is a strong advocate of person-centred care and is very happy to discuss the holistic needs of an individual whilst they undergo their oncological treatment.
