About me
Dr Klijnsma studied medicine in the Netherlands and trained as a Psychiatrist in South London at St George’s Hospital.
He has published on various topics including patient advocacy http://pb.rcpsych.org/content/17/4/230 and alcohol detoxification http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/8554652.
The needs of the patient come first for him and he is interested in the doctor-patient relationship. Collaboration is important. He is interested in psychotherapy and has received training in a number of therapies. He has many years of experience assessing and treating various mental health problems. Dr Klijnsma is also interested in and had training to diagnose Autism Spectrum Disorder and has diagnosed and treated adult ADHD for many years.
