About me

I have 20 years’ experience in providing psychological therapy for people experiencing a wide range of psychological and emotional distress. I am a fully qualified counsellor and a fully qualified and BABCP accredited CBT psychotherapist.
I began my career as a person-centred counsellor and also taught counselling for many years in further education. I then trained as a CBT therapist and have worked in this modem for the NHS for 10 years. I also specialise in working with long term health conditions using CBT techniques.
I am a member of the Liverpool BABCP branch and am instrumental in organising training days for other CBT therapists.
I believe therapy is a collaboration and I like to create a calm and confidential space for you to be able to be open about your concerns and feel listened too. Not everybody ‘fits’ into specific treatments so it is important that we build a treatment plan tailored to your problems.
