About me

Mr Arshad graduated with honours from Cambridge University and completed surgical training in Nottingham and Leicester. He pursued advanced Hepatobiliary fellowship training at the Birmingham Liver Unit before taking up a consultant post at University Hospital Southampton in 2018. He has extensive experience in surgery for abdominal hernias as well as offering a full range of surgical treatment for conditions affecting the gallbladder, liver, bile ducts, duodenum and pancreas.
His research interests include novel biological agents to treat advanced pancreatic cancer for which he was awarded a MD by thesis and he is a principal investigator for the national pancreatic cancer tissue bank.
