About me

I am a Consultant Gynaecologist, Pelvic Floor and Laparoscopic Surgeon, with my NHS practice based at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust. I am Lead for Urogynaecology, Colposcopy and am also Quality Improvement Lead. I graduated from the University of Liverpool and completed my training in the Mersey and North West of England rotations, having worked in many referral hospitals.

I have completed advanced training in urogynaecology as a pelvic floor surgeon. I am also an accredited colposcopist with the British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP). In addition, I have completed advanced training in gynaecological ultrasound to compliment my practice.

I have completed the Advanced Certificate in Clinical Education. I am an Honorary Clinical Lecturer for the School of Medicine at the University of Liverpool, where I am actively involved in the training of undergraduates. I am also involved in training candidates for the MRCOG examinations and work with the RCOG to support this nationally. I have a keen interest in research, and have published widely within my speciality with presentations at many international and national meetings.

I am committed to delivering high quality, individualised healthcare. I aim to alleviate any concerns with a listening and supportive manner.

I am married with two children. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time in the great outdoors, playing music and travel.
