About me

Professor Jenny Higham is the Principal of St George's, University of London, and Visiting Professor at Imperial College, Kensington, London SW7 2AZ, as well as Honorary Consultant at St Georges NHS Foundation Trust, Blackshaw Road, London SW17 0QT. She previously had senior roles at Imperial College and Lee Kong Chian School of Medicine in Singapore. In addition to managerial roles, she continues clinical practice. She has been named "Mentor of the Year" at the Women of the Future Awards, been awarded a President and Rector's Award for Outstanding Contribution to Teaching Excellence and the Imperial College Medal for outstanding leadership.

Professor Higham has a thriving Private Practice and has practising rights at the Lindo Wing, St Mary's Hospital, South Wharf Road, London W2 1NY and the King Edward VII's Hospital Sister Agnes, Beaumont Street, London W1G 6AA. She has particular clinical expertise in the management of abnormal uterine bleeding, outpatient hysteroscopy and reproductive surgery. She has 30 years' experience as a doctor specialising in gynaecology and she is also a member of the Faculty of Family Planning (MFFP).
