About me
Mr Stapleton qualified at St George's Hospital Medical School in 1985 and completed his training in neurosurgery at Queen Square and Great Ormond Street as well as at the Atkinson Morley Hospital in Wimbledon. He also spent as a postgraduate fellow at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto and at the Montreal Neurological Institute before taking up a consultant post at St George's Hospital in 1996.
He is the Lead Clinician for Neurosurgery at St George's and has been an examiner for the Royal Colleges of Surgeons for the last 12 years.
