About me

Are you at a crossroads in life? struggling with your mental health? feeling sad, anxious, depressed? I specialise in helping clients work through the issues that are bothering them, find answers to their problems and move forward positively and with confidence. I work with adult individuals and couples both online via video link and from two locations in Kent and West Sussex as well as online via Zoom and other digital platforms.

I am a counsellor/psychotherapist and I trained within the NHS and I hold a Diploma in Integrative Counselling from a BACP accredited college. Please get in touch by phone or email. I also hold degrees in both Social Science and Law, and have run my own business in the City of London for over 20 years. I am registered with the BACP (British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy), the largest professional body for counsellors and psychotherapists in the UK. My practice complies with the BACP’s stringent ethical and professional guidelines. I have full DBS (CRB) certification, professional indemnity insurance and clinical supervision.

I see clients (individuals and couples) with a broad range of presenting issues including:

Anxiety
Panic attacks
Depression
Generalised anxiety disorder
Stress
Relationship difficulties
Family issues
Anger
Loss/bereavement
Esteem issues and trauma amongst others (see below).
I aim to create a safe, non-judgemental and empathic environment, within which clients can start to build a deeper understanding of themselves and gain insight into their problems. I believe that the relationship between counsellor and client is a key to successful outcomes in therapy.

The Integrative approach to which I subscribe, allows me to work in a blended, person-centred, psychodynamic and cognitive/CBT way. I feel this way of working greatly benefits my clients and can be 'tailor made' to suit you and the problems you may be experiencing in life. I am more than happy to discuss this with you and to answer any questions you may have. Please contact me for a free initial consultation and assessment by phone or Skype.
