About me

Dr Tom Prior graduated with distinction from Imperial College London medical school. His post-graduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology took place at a number of London hospitals, including the world renowned St Mary's and Queen Charlotte's and Chelsea Hospitals.

In 2015 Dr Prior was awarded a PhD from Imperial College London, recognising his research on the prediction of fetal compromise in labour.

Dr Prior is subspecialty accredited in maternal and fetal medicine, with experience in fetal ultrasound and of managing complex pregnancies. As well as this clinical experience, Dr Prior is noted for his calm, caring approach, and outstanding communication skills.

While having the experience and knowledge to manage complex pregnancies, Dr Prior is also a passionate advocate of normal birth, and aims to support women to achieve the birth they want, in the safest way possible.
