About me

I have been a Consultant Haematologist for 26 years with specialist expertise in haematological malignancies and stem cell transplantation. I am the the head of the transplant programmes at The Royal Marsden which is one of the largest transplant centres in the UK and The London clinic which is the largest centre for donor stem cell collection in the UK. I also treat patients with chemotherapy / new agents for a wide variety of haematological malignancies. I also see patients for investigation of possible blood conditions e.g. anaemias, abnormal white blood cell or platelet counts. I am a full time clinician and one of the most experienced haematologists in my field in the UK. My research is centred on improving treatment outcomes and I always try to communicate well with patients in a clear, honest and empathic manner.
