About me
I practice exclusively as a vascular specialist providing expert treatment to patients with arterial and venous disease both privately and within a busy NHS practice. Being uniquely qualified in both open vascular surgery and minimally invasive endovascular surgery, I am able to offer my clients a truly unbiased and comprehensive expert opinion on the full range of treatment options available for their vascular condition.
I have a super-specialist interest in arterial conditions affecting the legs and am widely regarded as a leading national expert in the treatment of complex lower limb arterial disease. I am the Clinical Director of the University Hospitals of Leicester NHS Trust Vascular Limb Salvage (VaLS) Service and pioneered the Vascular Limb Salvage Academy being awarded ‘Most Inspiring Role Model’ by the University Hospitals of Leicester in 2018.
Myself and three fellow vascular surgeons (Mr Gregory McMahon, Mr Harjeet Rayt, Mr Tryfon Vainas) provide specialist vascular and endovascular services in the private sector at Circulation Clinic (www.CirculationClinic.com). Our team working model of care allows our patients to benefit from the experience and expertise of four leading UK vascular surgeons; all complex arterial and venous cases are discussed within our multidisciplinary team (MDT) and managed within a collaborative working environment, including dual consultant operating lists, ensuring our clients are offered the best treatment available.
