About me
Dr Sanyal qualified in Medicine from India and worked in dermatology before coming to the UK for further training. He trained in dermatology in the Midlands working in local hospitals across the region.
He has a wealth of experience across all aspects of dermatology, having worked across hospitals in India, Nepal and the UK over the last 20 years. In the UK he has worked in units based in Milton Keynes, London, Liverpool, Dundee, Edinburgh, Warwick, Coventry and Birmingham.
He has a special interest in psychological problems experienced by patients with skin problems.
Dr Sanyal currently works as a Consultant Dermatologist in the University Hospital of Coventry and Warwickshire, spending time at both the Hospital of St Cross, Rugby and University Hospital, Coventry.
He is actively involved in research and has been an investigator in various clinical trials in UK as a member of the UK Dermatology clinical trials network.
He is passionate about Medical Education and is a keen teacher to medical students, trainees and general practitioners.
