About me

I Graduated in 1985 followed by ‘Masters in Orthopedic Surgery’ (M,S)from Gandhi medical college, India. I came to UK and did my Masters ( M.Ch) in Orthopedics from University of Liverpool in 1995, Liverpool. I Did my FRCS examination from the Royal college of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in July 2000. Was first appointed as Consultant in 2001 and have more than 20 years experience in United Kingdom
I’m presently employed as Lower limb consultant Orthopaedic surgeon at the University Hospitals of North Tees and Hartlepool, specialising in revision hip and knee surgery and Partial knee replacements. I’m the clinical governance lead for Orthopaedics at UHNT looking after patient safety. I’m also on the faculty at Newcastle Surgical training centre.
My main area of interest is Lower limb joint replacement, including primary hip and knee replacements, Revision hips and Knee replacements, Partial knee replacements in knees and knee arthroscopic surgery. I also do Hip and Knee injection treatments
