About me
Mr Will Green is a Consultant Urologist at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and Honorary Assistant Professor at The University of Nottingham, School of Medicine.
He completed surgical and urological training in the East Midlands and developed a specialist interest in urothelial cancer and pelvic and upper-tract uro-oncology. He went on to attend a 12 month uro-oncology fellowship post at Fiona Stanley Hospital, Perth, Western Australia.
He now performs cystectomy, nephrectomy and nephro-ureterectomy along with all general urology.
He has a strong research background, having published extensively, completed an MPhil in cancer biomarker research and gained a first class degree in Neuroscience. He is now the lead for Research and Innovation for the Cancer and Associated Specialities Division, Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust and runs a number of clinical trials.
He is the bladder cancer guidelines lead for the East Midlands Cancer Alliance Expert Clinical Advisory Group (ECAG).
Recently Mr Green was appointed to the British Association of Urological Surgeons (BAUS) Council as the East Midlands representative.
Outside of work he is a keen sportsman and is married with 3 young children.
