About me

Robert Sattin is a dedicated Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with extensive experience in a range of gynaecological disorders including menstrual disorders, heavy periods, fibroids, prolapse, bladder problems, pelvic pain, menopausal complications and endometriosis. Mr Sattin also performs hysteroscopic surgery for ablation and removing polyps/fibroids and can carry out laparoscopic (key-hole) surgery. In addition, he performs vaginal and laparoscopically assisted hysterectomy, as well as abdominal hysterectomy. He has an honest and caring approach and prides himself on his commitment to his patients and their wellbeing.

He has been a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist at the Lister Hospital, Stevenage and Pinehill Hospital Hitchin since 1995 and more recently One Hatfield, Hatfield. During this time I have also been the Divisional Chair for Women’s Services for the Trust, which is the Clinical Lead for the department with responsibility for clinical governance/risk management, development of the service and financial management.

He prides himself on the personal care he provides for his patients. He has had no personal complaints at Pinehill Hospital or One Hatfield. I have annual appraisals, which include feedback from patients. In my last appraisal in November 2018, all patients surveyed were confident in my ability to provide care and all would be completely happy to see me again.
