About me
I was appointed Consultant Urologist in Glasgow in 2013 where I set up Laparoscopic Pelvic Cancer surgery, and went on to establish the Robotic Prostatectomy Program for the West of Scotland. I trained a team of doctors, nurses and physiotherapists for a large regional service, prior to moving to St George’s University Hospital, London, in 2017.
I have a sub-speciality interest in prostate cancer and urinary tract issues in men and women. In addition, I did a Doctorate in Medicine in Urinary Bladder Cancer.
I am actively involved in teaching and training at a number of international courses, and am the Course Director for the ‘innovations in laparoscopy’ course in Hamburg and have trained over 250 experienced Urologists from across Europe.
I have published a large number of papers in leading journals and presented widely at a large number of international conferences. In addition, I have co-authored 2 DVD's regarding laparoscopic and Robotic surgical techniques. I am the Clinical Lead for Urology Cancer at St George's and the Urology Chair at RM Partners, the alliance that overseas delivery of Urology Cancer across South West London.
