About me

I have worked within the mental health field for more than 10 years and have experience of working with a wide range of client groups including children, adults and vulnerable clients with severe, complex and enduring mental health problems. I am an Accredited Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and an Accredited Rational-Emotive Behavioural Therapist and I have extensive experience treating all common mental health disorders as well as treating clients suffering from mental health problems due to Long Term Physical Health Conditions.

I have completed numerous professional trainings and workshops which is reflected in the quality and outcomes I achieve with clients. I have held several senior positions within NHS mental health services and I have attended the Houses of Parliament by invitation to advise Members of Parliament on the support, provision and treatment of Mental Health problems.

I am an empathetic, friendly and non-judgemental therapist and I place a huge importance on helping clients to feel comfortable and at ease through the therapeutic process. Every client is different and within therapy I also place a great emphasis on truly understanding the difficulties clients are having so we can work together to overcome these. I have a proven ability to consistently achieve excellent outcomes with very challenging clients and I am also experienced in supervising a range of qualified professionals including CBT therapists within both private practice and the NHS.
