About me

About Face was established in 1986 and specialises in hair removal: electrolysis, IPL /laser and waxing.
All staff take post graduate exams to become registered members of The British Institute and Association of Electrolysis [BIAE]. Electrolysis is still the only medically approved method of permanent hair removal and we offer a free, private electrolysis consultation with no obligation.
The clinic owner, Helen Graham, is a past Chair of the BIAE.
We are Glasgow’s only Specialist Clinic in Advanced Electrolysis for removal of red veins, skin tags, moles, warts and verrucas, whiteheads/milia, blood spots, pigmentation marks, age and sun spots, syringoma, and sebaceous hyperplasia.
IPL / Laser is used for permanent hair reduction, skin rejuvenation, red vein removal, rosacea treatment, acne treatment, scar tissue, blood spots and pigmentation.
A wide range of beauty treatments are available including professional facials, CACI non-surgical face lift, microdermabrasion, waxing [including Brazilian & Hollywood], manicure and pedicure, gel polish and eyelash tinting. Holistic therapies on offer include Aromatherapy, Hot Stone Massage, Reflexology, Indian Head Massage and Swedish Massage.
With 9 staff members, About Face has a friendly and professional team, qualified to the highest standards.
About Face is an Investors In People [Gold] accredited organisation and as such takes the ongoing training and development of its staff very seriously indeed with all staff continually updating their skills. The highest standards of professionalism and hygiene are maintained.
About Face has a large group of clients, based in and around Glasgow, including private clients and clients referred by the NHS.
