About me
I come from a medical background having previously worked as a doctor for 10 years.
In 2007, I began my counselling training as I always was interested to help people and be there for them. I trained as a Person-Centred counsellor (PG diploma). Since 2010, my work was with individuals from different cultures and having different issues. I am bilingual and work with clients in English and Arabic.
I am very passionate about working with couple's and individual relationships. In 2013, I joined Marriage Care as a volunteer couple counsellor and I started the Emotional Focused Couple Therapy Certificate (EFT). Since then I work with couples to sort out their relationships. I find it very rewarding when people work on their relationships either couples or individuals.
In 2015, I became interested to work with children and young, so I did the Place to be training and started the Volunteer work In Place2Be for one academic year, I worked with children in Secondary schools with different issues. I found working with children very interesting, so I decided to do Specialist Diploma of counselling children and youth.
In 2016, I became a Registered MBACP Accredited Counsellor/Psychotherapist.
